This bird was identified by Dale Warner as a Juvenile Eastern Towhee.

have this gallery too! When I get a chance, I'll
put some time in on the other bird (what I'm
guessing is a finch or grosebeak)......can you
remember which it would be more likely to be
in regards to its size?

I believe this and the next two pics are a
juvenile eastern towhee (or rufus-sided towhee
as it used to be called). When I saw the shape
I immediately thought of this bird but it took me
awhile to find a photo of a juvenile and I've not
ever seen one myself that I recall.
I have photos in bird books to show you in
regards to the starling (so I think) and this one.
